Comparison of Machine Learning and Deep Learning effectiveness for human activity recognition in smart homes

Master’s thesis completed at UQAC on human activity recognition in ambient intelligence. The work led to a scientific article written with Professor Kévin Bouchard and published in the UCAmI 2024 proceedings by Springer.
