Public organizations: digital projects with clear responsibilities

Departments, agencies, municipalities, institutions and Crown corporations work under particular constraints: procurement requirements, traceability of decisions, protection of personal information, accountability obligations. KTMA SOLUTIONS, a corporation incorporated in Québec, can look into your digital needs while taking these constraints into account, subject to procurement requirements, applicable qualifications and available capacity.

Note : KTMA SOLUTIONS does not claim any listing as a supplier or any existing contract with a public body.

What we can look into with you

Every decision is documented

Our working method provides for written scoping of objectives, scope, deliverables, assumptions, risks and acceptance criteria. For each engagement, the terms for documentation, approval of changes and delivery of deliverables are defined in the contract, according to the body’s requirements and the nature of the work.

Your data, your rules

From the scoping stage, we discuss the requirements that apply to your data: location of residence, access, retention, destruction and protection of personal information, in accordance with the laws that apply to your organization. For a specific project, the hosting location is agreed with you before any implementation. Any disclosure of personal information outside Québec is preceded by the assessments required by law.

Support access : the terms of access to a body’s systems are defined before any intervention, according to its security policies and the requirements of the engagement. Where temporary access is needed, its authorization, duration, traceability and revocation are governed by the technical and contractual mechanisms applicable to the project.

French first, explicit requirements

Language : Canadian French is our reference language. The language of deliverables and interfaces is specified at the scoping stage.

Accessibility : the accessibility requirements of your engagement are recorded at the scoping stage and verified before delivery. KTMA SOLUTIONS does not declare any level of conformance for its own website.

Security : for each engagement, we define the access rights needed and the traceability requirements for sensitive operations, according to the systems concerned, the mechanisms available and the body’s security rules. No certification is claimed.

How an engagement unfolds

Stages : 1. Initial discussion of your need and constraints. 2. Written scoping: scope, requirements, risks. 3. Written proposal: approach, deliverables, schedule, price. 4. Contract in line with your procurement rules. 5. Delivery in verifiable stages. 6. Handover, transfer, training and, where needed, support.

What we need : a description of the need, your regulatory and contractual constraints, the nature of the data involved and the target timeline.

What we do not do : promising a deadline or result that is not written into the contract; displaying references or logos without authorization.
